                       Remedies For Heartburn
Eating a spicy dish is major cause for heartburn.
Foods that can cause heartburn are tomatoes, chocolates, onions, coffee, caffeine and alcohol. And dishes likes high in fats and oils and medications will do the same.
There are some easy things which can do at home to get relief from heartburn..
Almonds:
Almonds helps in digestion which has high oil content equalizes stomach acid.Have 15-20 almonds which solves your problem.
Aloe Vera juice:
It acts as a coolant and decreases the inflammation on the skin.Aloe Vera calm down the stomach and gives heart burn relief. It is the real home remedy to relieve heartburn.Have only aloe vera juice that is prepared only for internal use. 

Apple Cider Vinegar:
Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into ½ cup of water or apple juice and drink Quickly after very meal.It quiet stomach problems and give relief to digestion.It can be taken as tablet or capsule form..
Apples:
Having a slice of apple gives relief from acid production and decreases the burning sensation.It equalizes the acid in our stomach in 5minutes.Braeburn or gala apples works good.Celery sticks and cabbages will also reduce stomach acid.
Baking soda:
Actually it is a natural antacid.Stir ½ and 1 teaspoon of baking soda with a glass of water to equalizes the acid and relief heartburn caused by acid reflux.If you are suffering heartburn regularly don’t use this remedy,which has high in salt and causes side effects like swelling and nausea.
Bananas:
It acts as a real antacid in the body and have either fresh or dried bananas.
Basil:
It gives relief in heartburn and resist nausea and gas.Chew 2 to 3 basil leaves which reduces stomach acid.
Buttermilk:
Drink half cup of cold buttermilk which gives relief from heart burn.Daily using whole milk,but we don’t get immediate relief from heartburn.Include milk and soya in your diet regularly which helps in correcting acid reflux troubles.
Chamomile tea:
It is used to help equalize stomach acid and as a stress reliever.
Chewing gum:
It stimulates the salivary flow rate and acid that increases in our stomach is washed away and cleared immediately.Chew a sugar-free,fruit flavored gum.
Cinnamon:
We can make teas with crushed cinnamon or cardamom to reduce the heartburn.Add 1 teaspoon of crushed or powdered herb to 1 cup boiling water,strain and drink.
Fennel tea:
Tea made from anise,caraway or fennel seed can help from heart burn.Add 2 teaspoons to 1 cup of boiling water,stem for 10 minutes,strain and drink.
Garlic:
Majority of people blame garlic for heartburn,a clove or two can calm down the heartburn immediately.When burn occurs,chew a clove of garlic or store a few garlic cloves in apple cider vinegar and have a sip of the liquid.
Raw garlic is a antibiotic and kills the micro organisms which often founds in the people who are suffering from gastritis.
Ginger:
It is the best and oldest remedy for heartburn and helps in treating nausea.Ginger is also added to food while cooking,eaten raw and used in the tea as ginger tea.
Mix 1 tbsp of ginger and lemon juice with 2 tbsp of honey in warm water and have when are suffering from indigestion..
Grapes:
Have 10 to 20 grapes when you undergo any kind of indigestion.Grapes gives best relief from indigestion.
Licorice:
A form of licorice called DGL also produce heartburn soothing effects.It gives protection from acids by developing mucus release in the stomach.
DGL comes in large tablets place them in our mouth and allow to melt.Chew the tablet little but don’t swallow  them and helps in activating the DGL.
Mustard:
Mustard is a good remedy for heartburn.If you are suffering with acid reflux,mix 1 tsp of yellow mustard with about ½ glass of water.Even turmeric is used for digestive disorders.
Potato:
It is not only equalizes the acid in our stomach,but heals the lining of your esophagus and easy,secure and powerful.
For one raw potato juice add an even amount of cold water.Stir well till it is dull from the starch and drink the water immediately for best results.
Peppermint oil:
Add 2 drops of peppermint oil to 8oz. of cold water and have it whenever you are suffering from indigestion. If you are not able to drink it, have one piece of peppermint candy to give relief from indigestion and stomach irritation. Peppermint oil is a best ingredient to heartburn medicines and a true healer for heartburn.
Pineapple juice:
Drink 4 oz of pineapple juice after meals highly powerful in decreasing hyperacidity and heartburn. It contains bromelain enzymes that helps in controlling levels of hydrochloric acid in our stomach.
Slippery Elm:
It is used in herbal remedies to treat a kind of illnesses. Tree extract thickens the layer of mucous lining of the stomach  creates a strong barrier against acid.
Add one teaspoon powder to a cup of hot water, drink few cups through the day.
Turmeric:
Its helps stimulate digestion and arrest acid increase and also used in curried foods. It is also available in capsule form and have it before meals.
Vegetable Juice:
Juices like raw potato, celery and cabbage are alkaline in nature and helps in correcting an acidic stomach. Papaya juice contains the digestive enzyme papain,with soothing effect on the stomach and which helps in  breaking down protein.
Water:
Drink water which helps to wash excess acid that swash into the esophagus.Dont drink too much water as it makes problem worse.
 Some other things you should keep in mind if you are suffering from heartburn:
·         Avoid certain foods that cause your heartburn. Have more fiber to keep your digestive system healthy and decreases portion sizes.
·         Have your dinner atleast 2 or 3 hours before bedtime so that stomach has time to empty before you go to sleep.
·         Have smaller bites and eat slowly.
·         Extra abdominal fat can forces against the stomach and pumps acids up in to the esophagus. Following diet and exercises to shed extra pounds.
·         Smoking can decreases the effectiveness of the muscle that remains acids in the stomach. And there are so many various health reasons and the perfect time to quit.
·         Leave skin tight jeans which adds pressure on the abdomen.
·         Exercises also protect against the acid reflux which causes heartburn.
·         To raise the head about 6 inches, place wood bricks below your bed. By raising your pillows, not more effective for heartburn.
